Head teacher's Welcome
Childwall Sports & Science Academy has a mission statement to achieve “Learning without Limits” for each and every student. It is my passionate belief that here at Childwall we value every single child and celebrate them for being unique. My team and I are relentless in our view that all students can achieve their full potential regardless of background.
As the Headteacher of Childwall I believe I have three key aspects to my role:
- to keep children safe in this increasingly complex 21st century world;
- to ensure that every child enjoys their time at school and is proud to be part of the Childwall family;
- to deliver great outcomes for children through passionate teachers who always go the extra mile. I absolutely subscribe to the quote “Children’s learning is not a rehearsal. They never get a second chance”.
In 2016 Ofsted reported that at Childwall “Together they are developing a culture of academic excellence and a fundamental ethos of aspiration”. I am proud that they noticed the togetherness at the school.
Every visitor to this school, including two Ofsted inspection teams have commented on the warmth and welcoming atmosphere at Childwall. The last Ofsted team to visit commented that ‘pupils enjoyment at being at school is evident’.
If you are looking for a safe and happy school in which your child will learn and flourish as an individual, come and visit Childwall for yourself.
